Inspired by the Past! The foundation for the music of the Long gone Smiles Band is the great American country music of the Golden Era of Country Music 1927-1957.

The Long gone Smiles Band - three times winners of the Swedish National Country Music Awards - in  2007, 2012 and 2014 - is inspired by the wonderful music of the singers and composers Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams et. al. - as they make their musical journey in Time.

CD:S - DISCOGRAPHY

The Long gone Smiles Band has produced four CD:s – Nashville and If you Believe in Christmas, both released 2007; and The Most Important Part, released 2009 - including tribute songs to Hank Williams and his steel guitar player Don Helms; and More for the Money, released in September 2016 - with 18 songs. All CD:s are available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc. All songs are mixed and mastered by their producer Hans Adamson at Art Vista Productions, Los Angeles.

Performing live, the Long gone Smiles Band mixes their own original music with the great songs of their favorite stars, like Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Lefty Frizzell, Carl Smith, Ray Price and Kitty Wells.

On their recordings, however, they focus on ther own original music. Inspired by the past and by the Golden Era of Country Music 1927-1957, they perform on traditional acoustic and electric instruments, and they use vintage tube amps, to deliver old style sounds - blended with classic harmony singing. All recordings are made with modern equipment. The sum of all of this is the distinctive Long gone Smiles Band sound.
